The Perfect Pair Campaign Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter is Unilever South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”) and Vetro Media is the (“Promoter Agent”).

2. The promotional competition is open to all South African residents who are over the age of 18 years and in possession of a valid identity document.

3. The promotional competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.

4. By participating in this competition participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the Promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.

5. All personal information ("Personal Data") supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

6. The promotional competition will run from 3 September 2024 to 14 December 2024.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

7. To enter, participants must buy any 3 products from the Robertsons spices or Knorr salad dressing product ranges and upload a picture of their till slip to the whatsfordinner WhatsApp line at 071 219 9647. The participants that meet the requirements of this clause shall qualify as an entrant in the Promotion (“Entrant”).

8. Entrants are permitted unlimited entries with different till slips via whatsfordinner’s WhatsApp line.

9. Winners will be drawn at random. The Promoter and Promoter Agent reserves the right to select winners based on the selection criteria.

PRIZE:

10. The prize is a share of R500 000 (Five Hundred Thousand Rand) in any of the following braai essentials:

a. Heavy Duty Braai BBQ Grill Utensil Tool Set With Thermometer Tong Mats

b. Megamaster Heritage Series Classic 570 Kettle Braai Charcoal

c. Fieldbar Drinks Cooler Box, 10L

11. The winner will be entitled to any one of the abovementioned braai essentials which will be selected by the Promoter.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

12. Entrants must:

a. Buy any 3 products from the Robertsons spices or Knorr salad dressing product ranges and upload a picture of their till slip to the whatsfordinner WhatsApp line at 071 219 9647.

SELECTING WINNERS:

13. The promotional competition will run from 3 September 2024 to 14 December 2024.

14. 100 (One Hundred) winners will be drawn monthly via a random draw.

15. Winners are required to keep their till slip as proof of purchase.

16. The winners will be required to provide their name, ID number, copy of their identity document, and contact details and to sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize.

17. The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavour to contact the prize winners once every day for five consecutive working days after their name is announced. If the winner cannot be contacted during this period, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.

18. The Promoter or Promoter Agent reserves the right to select the winners.

DELIVERY OF PRIZES:

19. For the delivery of all these prizes, the Promoter will be in contact with the selected winners to obtain a valid address. The prize(s) will then be sent to them directly.

20. Failure to claim the prize within five consecutive working days or a refusal or inability to comply with any of the competition requirements will disqualify the winners and a new winner will be selected in terms of these rules.

ADDITIONAL COMPETITIONS – POP-UP ACTIVATIONS:

21. This promotional competition is open from 28 September 2024 14:00pm and ends at 20h00pm (night) on 14th December 2024.

22. The promotional competition is only applicable to specific event dates, as set out below and any entries received outside of these dates will not be considered:

a. 28 September 2024 @ PDL Shisanyama

b. 05 October 2024 @ Disoufeng Shisanyama

c. 19 October 2024 @ Kyalami Shisanyama

d. 16 November 2024 @ Maxis Lifestyle Shisanyama

e. 14 December 2024 @ Mojos Car wash & Shisanyama

23. To enter, participants will be required to either:

a. Purchase The Perfect Get Togetha Platter at one of the Pop Ups on the nominated dates above, Scan the QR Code to enter and keep their till slip, OR

b. Take a picture of you and your friends having The Perfect Get Togetha Braai at one of the Pop Ups on the nominated dates above and upload it to your social media accounts using the hashtags #WhatsForBraai #Robertsons100Years #MakeItNgqoWithKnorr

In order to qualify for entry, participants will be required to follow the below step by step guide for entry mechanic 1:

  • Step 1: Purchase the Perfect Get Togetha Platter at one of the nominated Pop Ups
  • Step 2: Scan QR Code
  • Step 3: Confirm that you are older than 18 years old
  • Step 4: Confirm or decline to receive offers and updates from trusted Unilever brands via SMS, Email and Online Advertising
  • Step 5: Confirm you have you purchased The Perfect Get Togetha platter and have kept your till slip for the Grand Prize draw
  • Step 6: Confirm at which Shisanyama you are participating
  • Step 7 – 9: Confirm your Name, Phone Number & Email
  • Step 10: Confirm you have read the Terms & Conditions

In order to qualify for entry, participants will be required to follow the below step by step guide for entry mechanic 2:

  • Step 1: Take a picture of you and your friends having The Perfect Get Togetha Braai at one of the Pop Ups on the nominated dates above
  • Step 2: Upload it to your social media accounts using the hashtags #WhatsForBraai #Robertsons100Years #MakeItNgqoWithKnorr

24. Participants must keep their till slip as proof of purchase for entry mechanic 1

25. Participants must scan the QR Code at The Perfect Get Togetha pop-ups for entry mechanic 1

26. Participants must enter in their correct contact details. If a Winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner in terms of the rules

27. Participants must use the correct hashtags on their social media accounts for mechanic 2

28. Participants may enter only once per Pop Up

29. The prize is 1 of 5 Braai Essential prizes per Pop Up. For a total 25 prizes across the 5 Pop Ups:

  • 1 x Weber Braai (To be Drawn via the QR Code)
  • 1 x Le Creuset serving Bowl (To be Drawn via the Social Hashtags)
  • 2 x Carrol Boyes Salad Servers (1 x To be Drawn via the QR Code and 1 x To be Drawn via the Social Hashtags)
  • 1 x Field Bar (To be Drawn via the Social Hashtags)

30. Any Prize not taken up for any reason within 48 Hours of notification will be forfeited. The winner will be required to collect their prize on the evening of the Pop Up they had entered at. If winner is unable to collect at the Pop Up due to having left, the promoter will deliver the prize.

31. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.

32. A single person/Till slip may only win 1 Prize per competition.

33. 5 participants will be selected as a winner per Pop Up to receive a Prize (as per allocations and timings above)

34. The Winner will be required to provide their till slip, name, ID number and copy of their identity document and will be contacted to acknowledge the receipt of the prize for mechanic 1.

35. The Winner will be required to provide their name, ID number and copy of their identity document, as well as confirm proof of their postings on social media and will be contacted to acknowledge the receipt of the prize for mechanic 2.

36. The Winner(s) will be selected by means of a random draw on the stipulated dates per Pop Up. The draws will be conducted at 8pm on each date. The winner will be notified telephonically where the Winner will be required to verify their details. The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavour to contact the prize Winner three (3) times on the day of draw after their name/number is drawn. If the Prize Winner cannot be contacted during this period, the Prize will be forfeited, and another Winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.

ADDITIONAL COMPETITIONS – MATCH DAY COMPETITIONS:

37. These competitions take place on the social media channels of the selected SABC radio stations. These radio stations are Khozi FM, Umhlobo Wenene FM, Lesedi FM, Thobela FM and Motsweding FM

38. Participants are required to post with a photo of their braai dish to their social media accounts using the hashtags #WhatsForBraai #Robertsons100Years and #MakeItNgqoWithKnorr and tagging whatsfordinner. Robertsons and Knorr Salad Dressing products need to be visible in the participant’s photo.

39. Winners will be drawn randomly and announced on social media and radio.

40. For the delivery of all R5000 shopping voucher, the Promoter will be in contact with the selected winners to obtain a valid address. The prize(s) will then be sent to them directly.

ADDITIONAL COMPETITIONS – WIN A BRAAI EXPERIENCE:

41. These competitions take place on the brands social media channels. Participants are required to post with a photo of their braai dish to their social media accounts using the hashtags #WhatsForBraai #Robertsons100Years and #MakeItNgqoWithKnorr and tagging whatsfordinner. Robertsons and Knorr Salad Dressing products need to be visible in the participant’s photo.

42. Winners will be drawn randomly and announced on social media.

43. For the braai experience of you and 7 friends at the Tshisanyama events, the Promoter will be in contact with the selected winner to obtain winner details and confirm attendance at the below mentioned venues:

a. 28 September 2024 @ PDL Shisanyama

b. 05 October 2024 @ Disoufeng Shisanyama

c. 19 October 2024 @ Kyalami Shisanyama

d. 16 November 2024 @ Maxis Lifestyle Shisanyama

e. 14 December 2024 @ Mojos Car wash & Shisanyama

GENERAL:

44. The winners will be required to sign an Indemnity and Media Release form.

45. A copy of these Terms and Conditions can be obtained from the Promoter’s Consumer Call Centre on telephone number 0860 151 141 or from the https://www.whatsfordinner.co.za/ website.

46. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotion that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.

47. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

48. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.

49. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

50. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images taken of the winners for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the winners. However, the winners have the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department.

51. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.

52. In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal value.

53. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant or the winners.

54. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

55. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.

56. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with WhatsApp and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to WhatsApp.

57. All participants in this Competition release WhatsApp from all liabilities and claims arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.

58. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment.

59. Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and descriptions that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.

60. Participants agree that by uploading their images and/or descriptions, they grant permission to the Promoter to use the images or descriptions or any part thereof, in any and all media for promotional/marketing purposes no consideration payable to the participants.

61. The Promoter may in its sole discretion amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice, and such amendment(s) will be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and condition on the [www.whatsfordinner.co.za] website.
