Competition Dates: 04 September – 17 December 2023
1. The promoter is Unilever South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”) and Vetro Media is the “Promoter Agent”.
2. The promotional competition is open to all South African residents in possession of a valid identity document.
3. The promotional competition is only open to participants over the age of 18.
4. These Terms and Conditions will prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications sent to you by us, including advertising or Promotional materials. Prize redemption instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions.
5. The promotional competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
6. By participating in this competition participants are asked to Opt In to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion.The participant is under no obligation to Opt In in order to still enter the promotional competition.
7. All personal information (‘Personal Data’) supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
8. This promotional competition is open from 04 September 2023 and ends at 12am (midnight) on 17 December 2023.Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

RETAILER SPECIFIC ENTRY:
To enter:
• Buy purchase any 3 participating brands / products listed above in point 9.
• Swipe your Xtra Savings Card at Shoprite and Checkers stores
• Swipe your Smart Shopper Card at Pick n Pay
10. Participants must keep their till slip as proof of purchase.
11. Participants must enter the correct last 4 digits of the barcode for product 1, product 2 and product 3. If a participant has given incorrect details of the barcode, the Promoter reserves the right to deem that entry as invalid.
12. Participants must enter in their correct contact details. If a Winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner in terms of the rules.
13. Participants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is associated with a separate purchase and accurate barcode.
14. The prize is 1 of 20 cash deposits to the value of R10 000, totalling R200 000 in cash deposits (the ‘Prize’).
15. Any Prize not taken up for any reason within one month of notification will be forfeited.
16. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.
17. A single person/ID number may only win 1 Prize per competition.
SELECTING WINNERS
18. Twenty (20) participants will be selected as winners (the ‘Winner’) to receive a Prize.
19. The Winner will be required to provide their till slip, name, ID number, copy of their identity document, contact details, certified bank account confirmation letter and will be contacted to acknowledgment the receipt of the prize.
20. The Winner will be selected by means of a random draw by monthly between 04 of September 2023 and 17 of December 2023 and will be notified telephonically where the Winner will be required to verify their details.The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavour to contact the prize Winner three (3) times on the day of draw after their name/number is drawn.If the Prize Winner cannot be contacted during this period, the Prize will be forfeited, and another Winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
DELIVERY OF PRIZE
21. The Prize winners will be contacted by Promoter “agency” where agency will require the winner to furnish agency with the aforesaid required documentation within three (3) days of confirmation of telephonic call, once all documents have been verified, agency will make a direct deposit to the prize winners. If the Prize Winner cannot produce the documents during this period, the Prize will be forfeited, and another Winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
CASH PRIZE DETAILS
22. Payment of the cash prizes will be made by EFT by the Promoter’s agency, Vetro Media (“the agency”), into a bank account nominated by the Winner. The Winner will need to provide the agency with an original letter from their bank on the bank’s letterhead confirming proof of their account details which letter must be stamped by the bank, before any amount will be transferred to them. The Prize is not transferrable.The agency’s print out of the bank transfer will serve as proof of receipt of the prize by the Winner.
GENERAL
23. The Winner may be required to sign an Indemnity and Media Release forms

25. Failure to claim the Prize or a refusal or inability to required documentation or comply with any of the competition requirements within 1 month will disqualify the Winner and a new Winner will be drawn in terms of these rules.
26. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever.Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
27. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotion that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
28. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind.Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
29. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
30. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
31. NOTE: Any attempt to use multiple cell phone details or other tactics to enter or vote more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void. Entries or votes generated by script, macro, bot, commercial contest subscription, incentives or other means not sponsored by the Promoter, vote-swapping sites, voting software, entering service sites or any other automated means and entries or votes by any means that subvert the entry/voting process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these competition rules, will void the entry/votes and may disqualify the entrant.
32. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images taken of the Winner for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the Winner.However, the Winner has the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department.
33. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control.In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
34. In the event that the Prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize of equal value.
35. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant or the Winner.
36. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
37. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
38. This promotional competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Telkom, MTN, Vodacom and Cell C and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to telephone networks.
39. All participants in this competition release Telkom, MTN, Vodacom and Cell C from all liabilities and claims arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
40. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment
41. Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and stories that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
42. Participants agree that by uploading their “images” and/or stories, they grant permission to the Promoter to use the images or stories or any part thereof, in any and all media for promotional/marketing purposes with no consideration payable to the participants.

43. The promoter is Unilever South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
44. The promotional competition is open to all South African residents who are over the age of 18 years and in possession of a valid identity document.
45. The promotional competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
Participating in this competition participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.
46. This promotional competition is open for entries from 11th September 2023 to 17th December 2023.
47. The promotional competition will run from 11th September 2023 to 18th December 2023, the winners of 15x braai kits will be selected and contacted by the Promoter.
48. As part of The Perfect Get-Togetha Braai campaign, the Promoter will be sharing a FREE recipe e-book with delicious summer recipes – including braai recipes – on the whatsfordinner website. This e-book will be available for download via https://www.whatsfordinner.co.za/the-perfect-get-togetha.
48.1. To download the e-book, consumers will be required to sign up with their contact details.
48.2. Consumers may only enter their details and download the e-book once.
48.3. Post sign up, consumers will be directed to a FREE, downloadable e-PDF.
49. All personal information ("Personal Data") supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
50. SOCIAL MEDIA TERMS
• When you post and/or tag any social media content (including, without limitation, photos, text, graphics, audio, video, location information, comments or any other materials) in relation to one of our Millennium Hotels and Resorts properties on social media sites (such as Instagram or Facebook) ("Social Content"), we may request your permission to use this Social Content in connection with our business. Such use may be in conjunction with our website, electronic media and/or print material.
• By accepting our request, you give us and our affiliated companies (including our direct and indirect parents and subsidiaries), and its or their respective agents, licenses, sub-licenses, contractors and assigns (collectively, "Authorised Entities") a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully-paid, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable right to use the Social Content in any form and lawful manner for any commercial purposes including (without limitation) online and offline marketing activities.
• By consenting to our request to use your Social Content, you agree to us publishing your name or username associated with that content and using all or any of your Social Content.
• You agree, represent and warrant that:
• You own, or have obtained from third parties, all appropriate rights in your Social Content.
• The Authorised Entities' use of your Social Content will not violate the intellectual, proprietary or other rights of any third party, or any applicable law.
• The Social Content is not libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, indecent, threatening, hateful, offensive or other unlawful.
• You release the Authorised Entities from any liability relating to its use of your Social Content in accordance with these Social Media Terms.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PERFECT GET-TOGETHA BRAAI
51. whatsfordinner will be giving away 15x braai kits to the value of R1000 each to selected participants that:
TO ENTER:
• Share pictures of their perfect get- togetha braai plate (making use of any three of the participating Robertsons spice, Aromat & Knorr products) using the #WhatsForBraai hashtag on Instagram.
• This User Generated Content (UGC) will be shared on the whatsfordinner website campaign page https://www.whatsfordinner.co.za/the-perfect-get-togetha – pending promoter approval of content.
• Unilever reserves the right to reuse all UGC at a later stage for any marketing purposes.
52. The participants that meet the requirements of above clauses shall qualify as an entrant in the Promotion.
53. Entrants are allowed to enter the competition more than once, provided that each entry adheres to the abovementioned requirements.
54. For the 15x braai kits, Unilever brand team hold the right to select winners based on their judging criteria and UGC submitted.
55. The prizes comprise of 15x braai kits ("Prize"). The breakdown of the Prize is as follows:
• 15x lucky winners will receive a braai kit. Products contained in the braai kit are not negotiable.
56. Any Prize not taken up for any reason within two months of notification will be forfeited.
57. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are not transferable.
JUDGING CRITERIA
58. For the grand prize of R10 000, a randomised, automated draw will take place. This means a till slip will be selected from all the till slips received upon the closing of the competition. This process will take place automatically and completely anonymously.
58.1. To win, participants would’ve bought any three participating products (from Robertsons Spices, Knorr and Aromat) from Shoprite, Checkers, Spar or Pick n Pay and adhered to each retailer’s specific entry requirements (as mentioned under Entry Requirements).
59. For the 15x braai kits, Unilever and the brand team hold the right to select winners based on their judging criteria and UGC submitted. Entries will be judged on:
59.1. Creativity: How creatively a braai-related image is shown, along with any three participating products (Robertsons Spices, Knorr and Aromat) and a dash of your personality.
59.2. Presentation and execution: The submitted picture meets the criteria, i.e., the post is braai-related and incorporates the use of the hashtag #WhatsForBraai.
59.3. Adherence to the theme: How well has the Entrant portrayed the #WhatsForBraai theme?
60. In addition, Entrants must:
• Agree to all contractual and brand requirements (including agreed-upon appearances throughout the promotion period – across all media including Social Media).
• Agree to background checks.
• Agree to sign usage agreements.
• Agree to sign UL brand ambassador contract.
SELECTING WINNERS
61. For the grand prize of R10 000, a randomised, automated draw will take place This means a till slip will be selected from all the till slips received upon the closing of the competition. This process will take place automatically and completely anonymously. See Judging Criteria for more.
62. For the 15x braai kits, Unilever and the brand team hold the right to select winners based on their judging criteria and UGC submitted. See Judging Criteria for more.
63. The Winners will be promoted and displayed on the whatsfordinner website during the campaign period. The Winners will be required to sign usage contracts allowing the brand to produce promotional content.
64. Entrants give the brand permission to utilise their entries on the brand site and social pages, this includes promotional material.
65. The Winners will be required to provide their name, ID number, Copy of their identity document, and contact details and to sign a usage contract for their participation in the competition.
66. The Promoter will rely on an automated process to select a Winner for the grand prize via a lucky draw and reserves the right to select the Winners of the 15x braai kits in line with the abovementioned judging criteria.
DELIVERY OF PRIZE
67. The Prize includes delivery, and the Winners will be required to provide the Promoter with a valid day, time, and delivery address to enable delivery.

68. The Finalists/Winners will be required to sign an Indemnity and Media Release form.
69. 74. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry requirements mentioned above.
75. Any attempt to use multiple e-mail, cell phone, Google or Facebook accounts or other tactics to enter more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, commercial contest subscription, incentives or other means not sponsored by the Promoter, entering service sites or any other automated means and entries or votes by any means that subvert the entry/voting process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these competition rules, will void the entry/votes, and may disqualify the entrant.
76. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images submitted by the Winners for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the Winners. However, the Winners have the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department.
77. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
78. If the Prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavors to procure the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize of equal value.
79. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers, or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant or the Winners.
80. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
81. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
82. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive, or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment.
83. Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and stories that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
84. Participants agree that by uploading their images and/or stories, they grant permission to the Promoter to use the images or stories or any part thereof, in all media for promotional/marketing purposes with no consideration payable to the participants.
